🦍 The Ape-like Yeti is a mythical beast said to stalk the higher reaches of the Himalayas.
Yeti and Meh-Teh has appeared in tales told on both sides of the mountains, in India, Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal, but features most strongly in the legends of the Sherpa, the communities that live at an average altitude of 12,000ft in eastern Nepal.

▪️Findings of Biologist Charlotte Lindqvist in 2017. (most accepted Study till date on Yeti)
A new DNA study of purported Yeti samples from museums and private collections by Biologist Charlotte Lindqvist, of University at Buffalo providing insight into the origins of this Himalayan legend.
The research, published November 29, 2017 in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, analyzed nine alleged Yeti specimens, including bone, tooth, skin, hair and fecal samples collected in the Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau.
Of those, one turned out to be from a dog. The other eight were from Asian bears — one from an Asian black bear, one from a Himalayan brown bear, and the other six from Tibetan brown bears.
Charlotte says: "Our findings strongly suggest that the biological underpinnings of the Yeti legend can be found in local bears, and our study demonstrates that genetics should be able to unravel other, similar mysteries."

👉 Grave Flaws in Charlotte Lindqvist's conclusions:
1. The fact that the 9 samples - purportedly of Yeti- that she DNA tested, doesn't belong to Yeti -- is NOT at all a proof that Yeti doesn't exist ❕❕
It only means that the sample collected was not that of Yetis
2. She did the research thousands of miles away without having understood the reality on the field.
3. It's questionable whether she has any direct field experience with Wildlife
4. I am not that much carried away by the "Bear theory " as it has many unexplained angles to it :
A. The locals, especially hunters, will be very much aware of most of the animals present in that region including bears and their pugmarks. So it is difficult to imagine that they are mistaking bears as the Mysterious Yeti !
▪️I would say that it is plainly Ridiculous to come to such a conclusion based solely on DNA tests - 1. that too collected by people who doesn't seem to have knowledge of Wildlife. 2. from dubious samples 3.
By analyzing only just 9 samples.
▪️ Charlotte's Findings have very Large Error Probability - as she heavily depends on just ONE VARIABLE - the DNA Analysis. 👉 That too from Inconclusive and Questionable samples.
🟥 On the other hand, NEELAGIRI TIGER was Scientifically Proved by more than 40 Factors or VARIABLEs & with more than 60 POINTS ❗❗❗ - making the Findings virtually Foolproof.
👉 On top of all we have more than 400 Eyewitnesses spread all over South India. And still Counting.

▪️Mind you - I am not at all suggesting either that Yeti really exists nor it doesn't Exist.
I am only saying that a proper Scientific Study is required before Coming to a Final Conclusion.
👉 The study by Charlotte cannot be considered as a Real Scientific Study - due to the Reasons I mentioned above.

▪️ The third Species which I Discovered, Neelagiri Cheruvan, is in the busy hill station of Ooty and well known to the locals, but not to the TN Forest department - they mistook Naai Siruthai ( Dog Leopard - locall name) tobean ordinarilyLeopard!!
